Mini Nutella Brownies (GF TOO!)

So I found a recipe for Nutella brownies online through Pinterest. (My favorite site to go to for everything. If it doesn’t have it, I tend to curl up in a ball and cry. ….Just kidding I think) Anyways, I changed the recipe into mini brownies because it can be served with appetizers too. Who said you can’t have delicious brownies with delicious food? Not me…:) The cool thing about this recipe, it only has 3 ingredients!
I made two batches. One with regular flour and one with oat flour. Here’s the recipe!

Mini Nutella Brownies

Ingredients
1 Whole container of Nutella (just the small one…I use Kroger off brand because I believe it to taste better!)
12 tbsp of all purpose flour (or you can use oat flour like I did. If you use oat flour, I reccommend putting in a little of vanilla to make it just right.)
2 eggs

Step One: Preheat oven to 350.

Step Two: Mix all ingredients into a bowl and stir until it looks ooey gooey.

Step Three: Spray TBSP with pam or cooking spray and use that as your tool to put in the mini pan. (Or use a scooper if you like.) Fill 3/4 of the way.

Step Four: Put in oven for 12 minutes. If you wish to have them really ooey gooey, I would leave them for 10 mins.

Step Five: Take a toothpick and put it in one of the brownies. When it comes out, it will have just a little of the ooey gooey. You made it right! (When cooking on 12 mins, I do not do this because they are done!)

Step Six: Let it cool off and enjoy!

SATURDAY!

News in my world:
Thanks for coming to my blog and reading about my personal life. I can be quite a catch. This past week, which was an awesome week, I got to have more time to myself. This time that I had, I relaxed, made dinner, and even caught up on a couple TV shows I have been missing. I also caught up on my sleep.

Pocket, my small dog, he’s a little bad. He’s finally survived a week without having an accident in the house. That is great, because that means he is finally being obedient. With him being over a year old, I thought it would be harder, but he’s being so good. Also, I will be posting a video on Wednesday starring him. He does something I would like to share with the world.

 

Android or Apple?:
I own an Android and an Apple product. Whatever you do, don’t ever ask which one I like more. I would never be able to answer that question. I love using my Android as my phone. I love using my iTouch for everything else. Tony just recently bought himself an iPad, which I use a lot when he isn’t around. I absolutely love it. The only thing you can’t do on the iPad is do word documents, which what this is. I usually type everything up before I post it. Sometimes, I even write it down.

The difference between Android and Apple App Market: Android has great apps, but not as great as the Apple App market. There are so many apps on the Apple market, I wish that Android had. I know that the Android Market is a lot bigger because of all the different phones that has the Android OS on it, but Apple is just amazing.

What is one app that you know an android user wouldn’t find on the Apple app market? Temple Run. I am so addicted to this game. Tony is addicted as well. Tonight, at our family’s house (with the UFC fights on), we are playing this game to see who can get the highest score. Tony so far has 205,000. I have 145,000. And the rest are under that.

New Year Resolution

This past week, I have decided to put my new year resolution to test. At the beginning of the year, I went to the doctors to get a check up and see how much I’d weigh. At that time, I weighed 4 lbs more than what I do now. That is two weeks later exactly.

I feel healthier, and I even act like I am healthier. I’ve done a lot of thinking and how to do this major change.

I have decided to change my eating habits. I am such an emotional eater, it is not even funny. I love to eat food. I’ll eat when I’m happy, I’ll eat when I’m sad, and I’ll especially eat when I’m upset. That’s who I was. This is the biggest change ever to me because, it’s something I really want.

Every morning before I take my dog, Pocket, outside for a walk, I will drink a glass of water. Water helps make yourself more full before you eat. It also helps your body digest the food you are about to it. When I come back in from the walk, I will eat just one slice of whole grain bread. White and wheat bread are bad for you.

I also write in my ipod what food and how many calories I eat in a day. I do not go over 1200 in a day. Instead of eating 3 meals a day, I eat 3 meals with 2 snacks. I also eat my dessert before I ate my dinner. It gives it a better chance to burn that calorie off. My dessert is typically that second snack in the day.

When you are bored, you eat. When I’m bored, all I do is think about food. I fiddle my thumbs and just think about how much food I want to eat.

I want to provide you with some information that I have found online that helped me lose this 4 lbs.

1.) Drink a glass of water before any meal.
2.) Eat a meal. In 3 hours, have a snack. After that, wait 3 hours and have lunch. In another 3 hours, have your dessert. Then wait 3 more hours, and have your dinner.
3.) Get rid of the bad foods, so when you crave them, grab an apple. (or something you know you will like)
4.) If you sit down all day, walk while you are on break at work.

Another day at Geico…

 

 

 

 

I do not know what I would like to write at this moment. I know I am in the stage of being confused about some things. At times I wonder why the grass is green and the sky is blue. But I know that science is in charge of that.
The way I feel right now, it’s a kind of feeling of not knowing my own strength. I defeat myself in this kind of stage. It doesn’t happen all the time. I just wonder what life is about, and why God put me here to serve me as for His purpose. I mean, we all have a purpose in His eyes, right?

Was it to change someone’s life? Because if the answer to that question was a yes, then I have definetly been not doing my job. I just wonder what would that specific purpose be. I know I am not a Mother Teresa, but I would love to do something bigger than what I am.

I’ve also decided I wanted to pick up a new hobby. I need something that can keep my mind occupied because my mind is currently. Let’s look at a hobby list that might interest me:
1.) Cooking I could only do this when I could…and I don’t have a lot of time to. I love to cook, don’t get me wrong. This is usually what Tony does.
2.) Running/Jogging I could do this also when I get done with work, the only problem is that I’m out of shape, that even jogging wouldn’t help me. I guess I could jog for a bit then walk then jog again.
3.) ReadingI love to read! I would be so happy to make this apart of my life again!
4.) BloggingI’m doing that right now, and it seems to be helping me so far. What do you think?
5.) DrawingI use to love to draw, but I couldn’t really ever do it best way.

6.) CrochetI actually do this right now, but sometimes it gets boring very easy. And I stop in the middle of the jobs. I would be great at this if I could just finish it.

 

Well, I’ve decided that I am going to write another poem in the next few days. I hope you read it. Please stay tuned…

At Home

Well, I’m just sitting here at home tonight. I am watching Family Guy with the most wonderful man in the world. Tony and I are enjoying the tv show, while the dogs are wrestling in the floor.

I made myself some dinner while Tony ate his leftovers from yesterday. The funny thing about Tony and myself, we do not like to eat left overs unless it’s his momma’s cooking, or if it is pizza.

But I made Apple Sauce Noots!
This feeds about two people.
What you need?
2 cups of egg noodles.
4 eggs.
2 cups of apple sauce.
3 tsp of butter

First, boil water then put the noodles in.
Wait until the noodles are boiled to melt butter in skillet.
After melted butter, drain noodles and mix with butter.
Scramble eggs in skillet and cook on low. (When cooking on low, will let noodles get cooked the right away until the eggs are done)
Noodles take about 7 minutes to finish.
Place noodles on plate.
Then eggs on top of the noodles.
Then apple sauce on top of the eggs.

I promise you this is delicious. It’s something my family and I share, but I wanted to share with you. It might be weird, but hell, who isn’t?

Other than that, I made chicken over the weekend for Mr. TB. He completely fell in love with it, and has asked me to make it again. I would love to, if I had the chicken. I wish when you look in a cook book, it would have a full dinner selection. For instance, I’m having chicken tonight. What goes best with chicken? Anything really, but I would like to have the option of a cool recipe to go with it.

Other than the awesome chicken, I made some muffins. We ate them over the week, and they are officially gone.

As I’m typing right now, my dog Pocket, has completely gone insane. He’s running around like he’s crazy!

Christmas

Today has been one of the best days ever. I love my family. They are so special to me. I have definitely been blessed.

Christmas isn’t just about receiving gifts. It’s about knowing where you come from and how to find yourself back home. I found myself. Have you found yourself?

You can look back 10 years from now and ask yourself the same question. I bet you that you have lost yourself several times and it took your family to bring you back to reality. Reality is just over the horizon.

Other than that, I am actually under the weather with a cold. Who else is under the weather? It just the season. Though it doesn’t snow here, I still hoped it would. When I woke up, it was pouring down raining. I love the rain more.

I miss my grandma back home, and know that she is doing well… Makes me really excited. I love her and she keeps me strong. She raised me to know right from wrong, and make sure that any boy that makes me cry isn’t worth my time. She taught me how to love and to trust people. We can be stingy, but hey… That’s a Yankee for ya!

Even though I have received great gifts (iPod touch iOS 5, kinect, and a huge cupcake full of candy, and a Clemson sweatshirt), I loved seeing everyone open up their gifts. I also got a new tv which will be used really soon.

When Tony opened up his gifts… I am so happy he loves his kindle fire.

Life couldn’t be more perfect.
